THE VISION THAT WAS SET
We wanted technology to be the balance that was created when world order had other plans.
We want it to be the product of a giving tree, on the subterraneum side of a balance that was natural to the world.
We wanted it to be the fruit that beared when independent thinking people put their brains together to come up with alternatives.
We wanted it to the Mother of Necessity (Invention).
THE REALITY
It became more complicated than that.
We began writing the future much faster than, well, ever before.
It became clear that the future is more in our hands than ever before.
Perception was becoming reality fast, the economy suddenly became about “vibes”, and “vibes” became so real it’s almost passé to talk about.
We are now in a weird moment in time when people simultaneously have incredible powers of creation on their hands, while they also desperately want to be told what to do.
Imperfections, flaws became lauded as marks of authenticity.
Some humans cried for realness.
Unreality began, and speculative fiction became a new genre.
Project Hail Mary became a highly successful movie in that regard.

Ages later, the Technology Observer was born.
